A200 CDI AMG Sport Bluemotion 1.8 Automatic
2013 A200 CDI AMG Sport Bluemotion 1.8l Automatic
Whilst driving my 2013 A class A200 CDI 7speed Auto (Think 724.0*** - 7gDCT?) cruising at 50mph it lost drive. The dash board said ‘without changing gear consult workshop’. Diagnostic DTC’s
showing are:
07e600- park pawl cannot be released.
071564 - RPM Sensor ‘Turbine Wheel’ has an implausible signal.
U010187- communication with TCM has a malfunction, msg missing.
also EML is illuminated
Car still starts, will allow selection of ‘D’ ‘R’ ‘N’ via gear shift lever and manual, sport, Eco modes via switch on dash also first gear via steering wheel paddles. However, only holds position on the screen indicator for maybe 3-4 seconds before illuminating the msg in red, ‘without changing gear consult workshop’ then returning to position ‘P’ park then returning to normal white illumination.
Strange… the recovery vehicle had to drag vehicle in ‘P’ on sliders as it wouldn’t hold ‘N’. When the vehicle was being unloaded, at an angle of around 30deg. or so, it allowed selection of ‘N’ and rolled off the recovery truck. Back on level ground, reverted to the original fault condition.
Would appreciate any ideas on fixes/solutions and an approximate cost of repair as the age of the vehicle has to be considered.
Kind regards
