Hi all,
Im obviously new here, I just got a A220 with the premium package, wireless charging etc.
Anyways I love the car so far but I notice when I put my phone on the pad (iPhone X) it doesn't charge. It is connected to the car though through bluetooth so I can play music etc.
Also I want to always drive in comfort mode but whenever I start it, its always in sport mode. Is there a way to set a permanent default?
Anyways hoping for help and appreciate any suggestions/advice.

Hi,
I also have iPhone X. It should be charging just fine, if not... take it to dealer. As for options go, mine defaults to comfort and want it to default to Sport mode... might be something to also take to dealer and see.

It starts in Comfort mode as default for me as well. For the break in period I was told not to use Sport mode. From reading on the charging I understand the position of the phone matters a lot.

Mine always starts in comfort mode no matter what I leave it in. I don't know of any way to change it. Wireless charging on my iPhone Max works fine but sometime takes a little while to kick in. Never been a problem.

Thanks for the replies that fixed the comfort mode. However with the wireless charging, It works fine on every other wireless charger I have both at home and at the office. However when I use my pad in the car it prompts apple pay.

The Apple Pay problem was a common problem with Mercedes and BMW's among others. It has since been solved by firmware updates. Not exactly sure which one. Be sure your car and phone are up to date.
