A220 (and maybe 250 too) body roll and engine acoustics.
Hi all, my first post here.
I’ve a 2019 A220 4MATIC. I’ve noticed that the body roll is quite significant going around curves at high speeds. The car can take it but it doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence when the driver’s body leans so far away from the turn.
FYI, I don’t have the AMG package which means I’ve got comfort suspension.
Also, I’ve driver 2020 and 2021 models of the same car (loaners) and I’ve noticed the engine acoustics in the cabin being very different.
My car (2019) feels pretty organic, except in sport mode.
The 2020 model has got a very deep grunt inside the cabin, it actually sounds really good, compared to my car which sounds very basic.
The 2021 has very little engine sound in the cabin, it seems as if they’ve vastly improved the acoustic insulation, it was very impressive.
Must be noted that the 2019 and 2020 models were assembled in Mexico, while the 2021 in Rastatt, Germany.
Just wanted to hear everyone’s thoughts about these two things.
