Generally speaking, Mercedes has become synonymous with comfort and luxury over the years.
Having said that, some W177 (and C118) models could do a little better in terms of comfort, and that is mainly the air conditioning department; the rear passenger seats have no direct AC outlet, and that may be somewhat inconvenient.
We either have to turn up AC, which will be too cold on the front seats, or make it comfortable for the front seats and not cool enough in the back.
The parts are all genuine so no problem there, and I have been blessed with staff that knows Mercedes very well, even with eyes closed.

The installation is pretty straightforward, so there’s not much to show, but it will take a few hours, due to some tedious bits. If you’re ready to lose the rear storage box and gain 2 more outlets, I don’t see any reason not to do it.

This is wonderful - thanks. The 'rear storage area' is a joke and this is a great update. Now all we need is a center arm rest and rear seat cup holders - fingers crossed
