Replacing WINDSCREEN CAMERA MODULE A2479000604
I got the camera communication fault U11A300 and consider to replace the camera with a donor camera. Is it just plug and play or will the new one require coding?

Took my car to the scheduled A1 service. The mechanic noticed the error himself and fixed it by re-coding the .esp control unit.

My hunch is that it'll require coding which means you'll need to take it to your local MB dealership to have that done. Replacing windshield nowadays is a much bigger deal than it used to be because of all of the new technology.
