W177 Standard Equipment Question
Greetings:
I purchased a CPO 2022 A220 back in March. Car's been great. I recently showed it to some other folks, and we came away with some questions:
There is no hood pad attached to the inside of the hood. No MB I'm aware of has NOT had a hood pad installed. Do you A220 owners have a hood pad?
The car is equipped with run-flat tires, so I wasn't expecting a spare in the area under the floor of the trunk/boot. However, there was a plastic tray with a number of compartments, most empty, but one that contains the threaded tow hook. Again, what do you A-class owners that have run-flat tires have under the trunk/boot floor?
I have a service appointment scheduled and will address this with the dealer, but I'd like to know if the car came the way I received it or if some of this stuff was removed for some reason before I bought it. I bought it from an MB dealer, who used it as a customer loaner vehicle from new.

My 2019 A220 does not have the hood pad attached to the inside of the hood. In the trunk, it just has the tow hook as well.
My in-laws had a 2019 A220 which had a MB tire inflator (A 000 583 22 02) and Mercedes tirefit sealant can. The vehicle was unfortunately totalled in an accident and the current 2020 A220 they have just has the tow hook as well, no hood pad either.

That's what the dealer told me as well, no hood pad, only the tow hook in the boot. Interestingly, there is a P/N for a hood pad for that car, but it is not available.
