Assistance with Restoration of 1953 Mercedes Benz 300S
I am currently in the process of restoring a 1953 Mercedes Benz 300S and would greatly appreciate your expertise and assistance.
The engine is seized and we need to remove it along with the transmission to be able to repair it.

- Could you please confirm whether it is absolutely necessary to separate the body from the chassis in order to remove the engine and transmission?
- If so, how is the body attached to the chassis? Could you please provide me with some type of guidance on how to proceed with separating the body from the chassis.
