For Sale: C-Class (W203) Wheels with Winter tires
After almost purchasing a C230, I am left with an orphaned set of winter wheels & tires in my garage. If you drive a W203, and are looking for a set of good snow tires, have I got a deal for you!
Specifics: The wheels were purchased used from a C320 owner, and are nearly flawless. They are the stock (non-sport package) 7 spoke 16" alloys that are standard on all 2002 C-Class sedans & wagons (except the C32).
The tires are Michelin Pilot Alpins, 'H' Speed rated (look 'em up on www.tirerack.com), in staggered sizes - front: 205/55-16 rear: 225/50-16. I used them for approximately 750 miles during the winter of 2000/2001, and they are in very good condition. They were remounted and balanced on the M-B wheels in February, 2002.
Price: I'd be freakin' thrilled to get $700 (plus shipping, from Chicago) for the set (which is what I paid for the wheels alone).
