Wanted: Command disk
Steve (mbenznl) installed command for me this past sunday in my coupe.
Am in search of map disk for California. Please PM me. I am willing to take a 03, 04, 05 disk. I typically do not travel to places where i would be worried about an out of date map.

Great to hear that you got your COMAND, but I don't have the disc that you need. How is your video adapter? I have that on my mod list.

i have to say..... extremely pleased!
last night i istalled a dvd player... and for fun was just sitting out in the driveway watching a movie. The picture is far better than i anticipated, and the sound with the BOSE system is very acceptable.
If you do get the adapter, make sure your dvd is both PAL and NTSC. Mine was, although its done internally in a menu, rather than a switch on the back so figuring out the menus through the fuzzy picture was a challenge.
for a total of 430 dollars (blaupunk dvd/tv tuner bought on sale, and adapter from steve and about 15.00 worht of wire, cold shrink tape, and connectors) its a excellent mod and worth every penny.
down side, TV reception is still in NTSC so audio is only option for now (unless you want to stare at the screen poltergeist style. In search of an adapter if anyone knows of one.

Good to hear, I can't wait to get mine. I was supposed to get it early this year, but I had to cancel my trip to see Steve due to work issues. I am pretty much getting it just for DVD so the NTSC/PAL issue should not be a big deal for me. Enjoy your COMAND (you will love it) and good luck finding your NAV cd.
