Sorry no more trade for now. I got a set already for the W203. Just looking to sell this set straight. Thanks for the offer though.

For everyone's information, I was not able to get these rims from Karsa. He backed out of his deal with me after I requested a few methods of making this deal safe:

1. Karsa would not accept a pay-pal payment

2. Wanted only cash or cashier's check (something is starting to smell here). I offered to send the funds on a specific date, if he could send the rims on the same date, and we submitted proof that both items (rims / cash) were in transit. Karsa would not do it.

3. Would not meet me half way from SF - San Diego = Bakersfield or LA.

4. We finally agreed we would meet in LA which is a 2 hour drive for him, a 5 hour drive for me to get the rims but by coincidence, his "brother" decided to get a Benz that weekend, and he "gave" him the rims the weekend I was supposed to drive out there to get them in LA.

6. Karsa had an ad on craigslist in San Diego after he posted his reponse to me on this forum, that he was awaiting my payment.

I'm soo thankful I did'nt send him my hard earned 1200.00. Would he have burned? I don't know. The impression I got was str8 up being shady. You tell me.

I wanted these rims for a long time, and when he finally lowered the price, I was on it. I was just trying to make sure in any way I could, I didnt get burned but coming up with workable plans. 1200.00 is 1200.00 and that means when someone is not willing to sound legit, by meeting you half way for that ammount of money, they're either out to burn, or just being shady.

Possibly both.

Hey liveddo,

Dont be pissed if those wheels and tires werent sold to you. You only told from you side. I gave you three days to send me the payment and you kept going back and forward. Those will be yours actually if you had sent me the payment but luckyly you didnt though cos dealing with you is like dealing with a kid.

I didnt say that I didnt want to meet you in LA. I did say I dont wanna meet you in Bakersfield cos it's too far from me and I didnt have much time to drive up there. I DID say I am willing to meet you in LA.

Well, I did change my mind and something happened along the way. Do you have problem with that?

I remember on that day (Wednesday, 03/08/06) you called me and said will let me know for sure if you will meet me or not in LA. I immediately asked you not to do either send me the payment nor make any plan to meet me in LA as soon as I got the news from my brother at the same day.

Please dont assume somebody is bad just because u cant get what you wanted

$1200 wont do me any good. If somebody want to meet me here in San Diego I will be more than happy to meet to prove that I am not shady or somebody who just want to eat other people's money.

I did deal with couple members here and nothing had ever gone wrong.

OK dont wanna say more, please dont make assumption too soon before you have any proof.

Karsa,

I'm not pissed that I didn't get something I wanted, I was upset that you didn't want to meet half way in the many solutions I offered. Meeting in LA was a last resort that YOU pulled back from. You know it, and I know it. Sure, I might have lagged a few days to offer a payment, but I did so to attempt a better solution than sending you 1200.00 (that you say you don't need) without any insurance on my end. I tried "back and forth" to get you to get pay-pal, ship the same time I sent funds, meet in Bakersfield, and nothing.

I don't think anyone would send 1200.00 to someone they didn't know, without having a pay-pal account, not willing to work out a mutual deal to send both items, at the same time, etc. You kept saying this is how people on Ebay do business. They do. I've been a member of Ebay for years and 99% of the sellers have ratings to prove they are not out to burn. While you cannot control getting burned, Ebay offers it's memebers recourse should they do. Not to mention, alot of sellers offer the buyer methods of payment. You on the other hand, have nothing for me to go on.

Bottom line, I'm not bashing you. You sempt like a cool guy I guess. Just not professional in the sense of doing business. You wanted me to send you my money without me having any choice in how to do so, and cross my fingers and wait that the rims "hopefully" arrived because you've sold to a few others here on the forum.

Don't be pissed that that you couldn't get over on me homie. I guess you didn't need the 1200.00 as you would have met me half way, which hey, it takes time / money to make money. I was in the same pos. to have to drive 3 hours farther for you to make it easier for YOU. Or, you could have set up a pay-pal account, accepted my payment, and sent the rims with a tracking number, not your word. I guess this explains having an ad out on CL locally in San Diego after I told you I would meet you in LA?

Whether you sold the rims locally, or gave them away, bottom line is it was YOU who didn't come through, not me. Now there's the story that you and I know.
