1997 E420, records, under $10k
I regret that it has come time to sell my E420. I am the second owner since new. The car was dealer serviced through 67k miles. Since 67k it has been serviced by Euro care automotive in Oak Forest IL with the excepotion of the brakes that I have done myself. The car now has 112k miles on it and is running like the day I purchased it over two years ago. Originally owned by a female doctor in Chicago until December 2003. I purchased this car at that time and have put highway commuting miles on it since.
The Good stuff:
Very tight car that drives perfectly. The tires were replaced in August 2005 and are in new condition. The front and rear brakes were done at 93k and 96k respectively. Bushings and ball joints were replaced on the front suspension at 101k. Synthetic oil has been used since I have owned the car. A full service including transmission flush and fill was performed at 90k miles.
The Bad stuff:
Some minor cosmetic issues. If you get within five feet of the car there are approximately four areas where rust is starting to form. I can take pictures of these but they will be very hard to see. There are approximately five door dings on the car (front doors). These were on the car when I purchased it and I decided not to fix. Once in awhile the passenger power seat will only move forward at the command of the switch. The memory seat will return the seat to a back position and the switch will then work. Since purchase the volume control on the stereo will sometimes require extra turning to adjust (hasn't bothered me enough to fix)

I am being too hard on the car with respect to the cosmetics. I originally said at five feet you would notice the areas where rust is starting but you really need to be less than two feet to see anything. I could easily sell this car without mentioning that but my goal is full disclosure. The serious buyer to drive this car will buy it.
