i purchased this new muffler a few weeks ago, never installed. it has a mirror finish and gives your car a deep racing tone. i buoght it for a W203 C230, but it will fit any car.., must weld. i am asking 175 shipped, because shipping alone will cost me $35

Yes, it will fit, its universal....the lifetime warranty has not been activated yet, just install at a magnaflow certified dealer probably for under $50...i paid about $199, it is still new in box. thanks! i purchasd from a performance exhaust shop about a month ago in Boston, Massachusetts.

What is the end pipe (not the tip) diameter?

I believe the end pipe is 2.25, so it should weld right on to any w203, slk, etc.... I was looking into this muffler for my exhaust system but decided to go a complete different custom route

no, no cut is required
i paid $200 for it at a performance exhaust shop, but since you can get it for 150, i will lower price to $140
i had it for under a month...its sitting in a box under my bed
no scratches, NEW!

Im a newbie with this car modding stuff, but this sounds like a pretty good deal and would be fun to do. Aside from noise this thing will generate, what advantages does it give a car with it in?

I believe it should also increase the car's horsepower by a bit.

rlee02135, I would love to complete this deal but I am worried about the droning sound of the exhaust. From my research, many people have complained about the loud drone in the cabin.

I am also uncertain if we have to trim the bumper for the tips to fit. Anyone can confirm on this?

Thanks for the sound clips .. did you replace your resonator with a straight pipe?
Just for comparison, I would appreciate it if you can post pics of the exhaust on your car.

Did you trim your rear bumper to fit the exhaust tips?

Check out my thread on the install with pics, no I did not replace the resonator. I just swapped out stock mufflers for Magnaflow's and added tips- yes I cut the bumper.
