This car is black on black and in immaculate condition. ITs a garage queen and still has all of the original plastic protective sheets that MB supplies .

I have only added 20% tint, otherwise the car is completely stock.

Obviously, this is a MB fourm so you guys know what an e55 is .

here are the options this car is equipped with:

220 Parktronic
401 Active ventilated seats
413 panorama sunroof
530 DVD comand navigation
819 6-cd disc changer
881 electronic trunk closer
889 keyless go
319 lighting package

Sticker on this car was $90,920.00

Anyone serious can post on here or PM me. I'm in no rush to sell as it is a 6th car. Will sell to a reasonable offer, however. CAr is located in south florida and has never seen inclement weather.

thanks.

id like to see low 80s. basically here is the deal. I have a new m6 on order and im deciding between keeping the e55 or trading it in on a m5. If i trade it into the dealer, they will give me 74, but since its a trade in, i also save that amount in taxes. That brings the actual value up around the 78k mark. If i can get 2kish more than the stealer, id much rather do that. I hate when those guys give you pennies and turn the car for a 15k profit.

do you think i can see low 80s or high 70s with this car, or should i jsut save the hassle and trade it in? its literally brand new... no rockchips, nothing. still has all the original plastic protection that it came with including the covers over the floormats! ahhaha

To be honest with you, take the car to the dealer and trade it in if they are giving you that kind of cash.

Good luck w/your decision!

I had to peek at the black sheets to see the value of that car. So Cal dealers are paying 66 to 69K for similar units. The dealer that offers more than that must really need the car, or he is building value into the trade (by charging more for the new car) so you don't feel so bad.

If you feel OK with the trade, I might just take the money he is offering.

Trade in 1000% ...you'll get no where near that from a private buyer in the market today. New 06's have been going for 10-15k discount (90k-->75k) so if you're getting 74 for yours DO IT and good luck with your M5 / M6...how much are M6's going for i've heard any where from 100-120's...not sure what to believe really

Manheim auction prices:
05/09/06 FAAO Regular $60,500 16,388 Avg BLACK 8G A Yes
05/04/06 MANHEIM Regular $62,700 11,518 Avg GREY 8G Yes
04/20/06 MANHEIM Regular $64,500 14,165 Avg SILVER 8G A Yes
04/20/06 MANHEIM Regular $61,750 15,185 Avg SILVER 8G A Yes
04/18/06 NEVADA Regular $58,750 17,334 Below BLACK 8G A No
04/06/06 MANHEIM Regular $61,900 25,639 Avg SILVER 8G No

Your's will probably fetch a bit more, due to mileage and options. You're looking at mid to high 60's. Prices for the E55 are taking a hit due to heavy discounts on New E55's. Plus the E63 is around the corner and the car is about to be one year older. I would take the offer from the BMW dealer.

M5's are selling for MSRP. Don't let him bully you into paying for more than MSRP.

Judging by price of new & slightly used E55 go around here, I think you should raise the asking price, low to mid 90s

Can someone confirm we're still in year 2003 ?

you guys were right.. it was too good to be true. He ran the numbers for the car today and came back at 66+ my savings in taxes which comes to about 70. Anyone interested in it for low to mid 70s?

That's why you should NEVER EVER EVER trust a dealer's buy price. They will say WHATEVER THE F&CK necessary to get you in the door. I bet you anything he already knew the wholesale price of the E55. Typical baiting procedure.

I was right on the nose for the wholesale price. You should be able to sell it private party for $66-69k, however, demand is down for the E55. I would still take the tradein since there is tax savings involved.

I looked at a 2004 with 44K miles certified until April 2009 with an asking price of $59.9K. Got it down to only $55.9K. I tried like hell to get it to $52K but no go. Sounds to me that there is still a market out there. At least for the 04.

I would let it go for 69k. I picked up a 2006 for high 70's brand new. Is this your parents car or yours?
