FS: Brand new CL55 AMG 18" wheels and tires
Hi everyone!
This being my first post and all I will get right to the point. My father just traded in his E55 for a new 2002 CL55. He wants to put the 19" AMG wheels that are a factory option on the car from Europe. Anyways.... before he does that he wants me to help him sell the 18" wheels that came on the car.
These wheels and tires are brand new. Less than 700 miles on them (for now). If anyone is interested please send me a PM or email at: JS913D@yahoo.com and we can discuss price and shipping arrangments.
Thanks,
Jon
P.s. I believe we want to get $1,500 for them

I know what you are thinking... I thought the same thing. Right a 11, almost 12 year old car with 2,057 miles. I didn't believe it at first either. The floor mats were still in the plastic bags in the rear hatch, and amazingly the car even smelled like new. After clearing the car with carfax. So after all the fluids, sparkplugs, filters, and even ecu had been replaced... the car came home with me.
Today I have 22,000 miles on the car. To get on with details about the car: standard all wheel drive, all wheel steering, an active exhuast system, as well as an automatic active aero system similar to that found on porsche's and volkwagens today. As well as all the power features and automatic a/c.
Mods I have done: Blitz SUS Air intake, Blitz Dual Drive Blowoff valve, Manual Boost Controller, Blitz boost gauge, Air/Fuel Ratio gauge, Sparco race pedals, Cusco rear strut tower brace, Free flow exhaust which entails removal of all 3 catalytic converters, and an ATR 3" Downpipe. Cat-back exhaust remains at the stock configuration to retain the Active Exhaust feature. I replaced the stock stereo and CD player with a new JVC headunit which plays CD-RWs.
I don't mean to sound over zealous, but I have been very impressed with this vehicle. I work very hard to keep this car perfect. The car is serviced regularily (changing the synthetic oil every 2500-3000 miles.) and it is garaged every night and I feel that it is really one of a kind. An excellent example of a VR4. I have not had any problems (possibly due to the low miles) or accidents of any kind to date.
I have more pictures online that I can share with you or link to this thread if you would like.

I'm interested in the wheels only, since the tires won't fit my car.

NickV - I am waiting on someone to make a decision, but if that falls through can I send you an email asking if you are still interested. I think he will decide this week.
I am asking $1500. The car is brand new, so of course the wheels and tires are in perfect shape and have less than 2,000 miles on them.
The wheels are 18x8.5 in the front and 18x9.5 in the rear. The front tires are 245/45/18 and 275/40/18 in the rear, Dunlop SP9000.
Thanks,
Jon
