For Sale: 1970 280sl
Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum (i don't own a benz) and found this forum through clublexus.com... Anyways my dad has a 1970 280SL that he's selling. Car is located in Southern California. Asking for 18k. He's gone for business for another week or so but until then i'll try to answer any questions. I'll get some pictures up soon. thanks.

Discrepancies:
Needs new heater control levers
A few small cracks on top of dash
Cracks on steering wheel at 3, 9 and 12 O’clock
Radio does not work
Windshield wipers do not work (motor tested OK)
Some rust on rear body panel below left rear bumper
LH door lock cylinder or control linkage needs adjustment
Downshifts sometimes kind of rough
Others:
Hardtop holder, one top handle tool, owner’s manual (reprint) and tools included
