1976 450SL cream w/ red hard top
This is a 1976 450SL mercedes and our family has been the third owner. We bought it three years ago and put roughly 1,000 miles on it, bringing the total up to roughly 123K.
The engine and transmission are original, the paint had been redone before our purchase, giving it the white-cream body and the red hard-top. The hard top has remained on the vehicle for most of our ownership. All three owners have garaged the car year round since its birth.
The body, wheel wells and undercarriage are all clean. Since our ownership we have waxed and washed the car with zymol.
The previous owner installed a four-speaker pioneer CD unit that sounds great, although i prefer the sound of the motor.
There is to be noted the following mechanical quirks:
window seals are not as tight as they could be.
oil leaks about a quart per two months.
We are asking $13,000 for this car and are located in central massachusetts. local offers only, please. We are looking for a dedicated and caring owner who will see that this car continues her long life.
