WTB: OM617a W123 Mercedes MBZ turbo engine or wrecked 300d/sd/td/cd.
Time to move to turbo, looking for an engine+everything needed to convert from NA to turbo, within ~200miles of atlanta, may be willing to drive further.

I'm in Orlando, FL and have a dead 300SD. My dad bought it as a parts car, so I'm not totally sure how it went dead. The engine and transmission is still in there, but I can ask the mechanic we bought it from how well it operates.
If the engine is blown, can you still use it and the turbo parts?
