1992 300D 2.5 turbo For Sale
1992 300D 2.5 turbo with 226K miles for Sale. It’s Peal Black with a gray interior. This car belongs to a friend of mine who did the following at 211K miles; head gasket, valve job replacing all valve lifters, new timing chain & tensioner and new motor mounts.
I have driven this car and the motor is strong, smooth and rather quiet. I say it’s quiet because I had a 1990 300D 2.5 turbo with only 104K miles which I fixed up for friend. That car was strong and smooth once running but it was not as smooth nor as quiet at idle as the black car with twice the miles. I did not do the engine work that was done on the black car because with only 104K miles I did not think it was necessary.
This Peal black car also had the evaporator replaced along with all 6 vacuum element so the air conditioning system does function as it should.
