FS: 1996 Bentley Turbo R, 33K miles
Up for sale is my 1996 Bentley Turbo R. I bought it for my wife and she does not like driving the car everyday because the attention it brings.... so we are selling it to buy something she "could drive everyday." I really regret having to sell it, it is such a beautiful masterpiece of automotive engineering and artistic perfection.
This is one of the last true Bentley vehicles that were hand built using real Bentley engines and not mass produced like the newer Bentleys.
This car is one of 281 1996 Turbo R vehicles in the world.
This car was ordered by Frederick Prinz von Anhalt, the 8th husband of Zsa Zsa Gabor and was his personal vehicle until 1998. This car had a MSRP of $197,000!
The car has the 405 hp 6.75 liter Turbo V8 with 600 ft/lbs of torque. It goes 0-60 in 5.8 seconds!
The 1995 and up Turbo R were considered one of the best handling large saloons of the era! This is when Bentley went back to their racing roots and made this car a true powerhouse and handling machine.
The car has the dual telephones (front and rear), 6 disc cd changer, full Alpine stereo (remote controlled), full wood panels, Chrome wheels, and sport grill.
The car is in immaculate shape with only 33,000 original miles! The car has always been stored in a climate controlled garage and has never seen rain or snow. I had the car serviced and everything check out perfect.
I have all the books, manuals, and some Bentley books that come with the car. I also have a expensive Bentley car cover that comes with the car.

Current Nada value is:
Low: $67,300
Average: $75,000
High: $83,000
I am asking $58,000 OR BEST OFFER
I just want to get my wife something she would love to drive before Christmas.
Thanks for looking!

Yes, I do miss the S600...
My wife and I test drove a slightly used 2006 S65 and a new left over 2006 S55 on Wed. She fell in love with both. If I can sell the Bentley, I think that is what I will buy her
I might put the Bentley on eBay in a couple of weeks. I have seen them bring $58-75K at the Barrett-Jackson auctions!

I rode in an older Rolls Royce Silver Spur in Hong Kong and I never saw that many curious people trying to look through the tinted windows!
This is a country where Porsches are everywhere! On the way back to the airport we rode in a Mercedes S280 (w140) and while I thought the much newer W140 rode better, nobody cared to even glance at it.
Anyway, amazing amazing car. Good luck with the sale. Gotta give you props for your taste in cars! (W140 S600, Bentley Turbo R, AMG W221)..

Haha, I love hongkong. Their are at least 5 s500 per block. Where did you stay in hong kong. I own 2 apartments over there for my business. One right out side victoria park and one near citi corp tower. I honestly love hongkong, but nothing beat good ole usa. Btw have you ever seen the pricing on cars. My uncle has an S600 and when he came here he was laughing at me complain about fule and tax prices. Can you immagin 200% tax on cars with $8.00 per gallon pricing. It truely is insanity.
brand new boxster here is less than 60k
and it's like 130k in Taiwan
