For Sale: 2003 C32 AMG

Do you happen to know shipping costs, like to the East Coast?
I know someone who's very interested in buying a new 2007 C230, but at the price perhaps a C32 AMG would do better, that's why I'm asking all these questions. The car look in good shape -- PM me your price of the car without the chrome wheels, just the stock.

The car is in excellent shape, though it has never seen snow or cold weather like you have on the East Coast.
The wheels currently on the car are not chrome (I would NEVER buy chrome wheels)...they are 19" 3-piece Work VS-TX Wheels riding on new Toyo T1-R tires (235 front/265 rear)
I can remove the wheels and sell separately, but doing so will cost me $$$ since I would need to mount brand new tires on the stock AMG wheels...in doing so I would have to pass all the cost to a buyer that wanted that configuration. I am not opposed to doing that, but would need a solid offer with a non-refundable down payment (let's say equal to the amount of the additional tires+mount/balance...of which I could get any brand/model you prefer).
I would be willing to do that for $29K + the cost of the new tires (this excludes all four Work wheels AND tires currently on the car). Let me also state that as the buyer, you would take all responsibility for shipping the car to your location (as well as the expense) and all liability for the car once sold is your's alone. That said, I would do everything in my power to help you successfully ship the car to the East coast if you plan on buying.
I really wanted to make this process easy, otherwise I would part out the mods on the car and sell everything separately since I could get a little more $$$ that way. The car, with the mods on it AND all the OEM parts for the asking price is a great deal...the new tires on the car were over $1000 (and I got a discount to get it to that amount)...ask around, they are $1500 at the all the other *discount* tire shops. I am almost giving away $3500 rims with this car.
This is a great deal on a great, well-cared for car if anyone is interested.

Okay, the buyer lives in New York (City). The deal is fair, I suppose if the car is brought the buyer can always buy new tires for the AMG Wheels and part the other wheels (to make up some of the money back) and the other extras are great to hang on to - especially to keep the floor mats clean.
I'm actually now sitting here with the interested customer, so we'll let you know if/when we're ready to make an offer.
Otherwise good luck.
Thanks,

I think I have looked at your thread like 20 times now.. Damn if I didn't just make the decision to keep my car past 100k miles I would already have this car in my driveway..
Somebody needs to buy this before I change my mind!

Thanks, but no thanks. If you have an A4 Avant then I may be able to do something...wife wants that car for some reason I get stuck driving an SUV for a year or so until I can get back into something fast

Not sold yet...I can't believe anyone with a C230/C240/320 wouldn't want to dump their car to get into the AMG?
BTW the factory warrant is until April 22, 2007. I will call the dealer and ask how much for extended warranty...

Spoke to MB and they stated that an MB extended warranty can only be purchased within the first year of new car ownership...but they did state that they work with some aftermarket warranties and that they do cover almost 100% of work. The dealer closest to me actually has an aftermarket warranty company that works out of the dealership.
So it is possible to get a decent warratny after the factory warranty expires. I will post back as to what it roughly costs for those interested.

I heard Mercury Platinum is around $2400 with zero deductible, for cars with lower than 45K mi. They also have monthly payment program across the span of 18 months. Might want to check them out.
