HRE’s

#1 face and lips are in pretty good shape. However there is a hairline crack on the inside barrel and is definitely not 100% round anymore. Both front wheels are a good look at what NYC potholes can do to a nice set of wheels. I actually contacted HRE a while ago and got quotes on replacing the barrels on #1 and #2. I think they quoted me somewhere around $700-800 to fix (I think a new barrel was around $300 and around $100 labor or something like that) but I never followed thru and wound up getting a new set of wheels. I just checked back on their site but they no longer have their ‘service’ price list posted.

#2 is just like #1 but the barrel is worse. Definitely need to get the barrel replaced. This wheel actually got cracked a few times as shown by all those welds lol.

#3 face and lips are in better shape than #1 and #2 but there is a small crack on the inside barrel that I was riding on for who knows how long, I only noticed that one once the wheels were taken off.

#4 is the best one out of all four wheels with no cracks or bends.

The two rear tires will need to be replaced soon, the two fronts still have a good amount of tread.

LORINSER’s

#1 and #2 have bends in the lips only as a result of one of those steel plates they put over holes in the roads when they do construction. The lips on these Lorinsers are super soft aluminum and bend pretty easy. The season before these lips got bent, all four of these Lorinser’s had lips similar to what pic #1 and #2 look like and I sent them to this guy in California from NYC that I met at the NY Auto Show that has a wheel booth there. He stripped all the lips, fixed all the bends and polished the lips out all for under $500 for all four wheels. I can definitely pass this info along to whoever wants it if you don’t have a contact for wheel refinishing.

#3 is pretty good and #4 has some curb rash.

All the tires on the Lorinser’s except for one are pretty shot so I didn’t even bother flickin those.

No wonder you still have them, don't respond to email and get offset and shipping info.

listen chief ive been responding to MOST of the emails ive gotten (and theres been a lot) but to tell you the truth im sick of all the flakers and all the people offering me $100 for a set of rims, theyre smoking crack!

i havent logged onto mbworld in a while cause i wasnt getting any thread update email notifications for this thread. i only became aware of the updated posts in this thread thanks to my pal dave who shot me an email, thanks dave!

only one person emailed me about the offset and that was like 1 or 2 days ago and i told them when i get a CHANCE i would go look at what the offset of the amgs was. that person acknowledged my reply and sent me an email back yesterday asking me what my "bottom dollar is and shipping to 35802".

as far as shipping goes, obviously your reading comprehension is lacking because in my very first post i clearly stated that the buyer would pay the exact shipping costs from zip 10302. its not that hard to figure out, go to fedex.com or ups.com or wherever you want and put your zip in and my zip and voila theres the shipping costs.

whats your email address btw so i can go back and see what you emailed me and how i responded or did not respond to you.

You should take it easy if you are trying to sell those. The AMG's are garbage, and the HREs are abused. The lorinsers are ok, but I would be suprised if you get over 3k for all three sets. I buy and sell sets, and I just got my buddy brand new monblock VI's with new michelin pilot sport tires for 1k shipped. Good luck selling, but don't rip fellow MBworld homies off.

listen up newbie, if homey wants to come at me like i dont answer peoples emails and ****, hes wrong and im letting everyone else know that.

no one is trying to rip anyone off so get that thru your head. ive been up front about the condition of the wheels from the start and everyone can see what kind of shape the wheels are in so dont get it twisted.

i wasnt even thinking i would get anywhere near 3K for all three sets, go back and look at what i had wanted to get for each set and i even said i was negotiable on the price. i was looking to get $1700 tops for all three sets.

if you are such a big 'wheel flipper' why dont you tell me how much you think each of these sets is worth?

Thanks for the post, I will remain patient. If they have the right offset, all I am looking for is a second set and want OEM.
