Did it fit the CLK at all? or was it too much of a mess to work with?

 

Well, things would have been find if my head unit (CM-1330) was only Fibre optically wired from CD and steering........it is also wired to my REAR AMP via Fibre optic.........

I've decided to simply go to an OEM Command.....that way can configure IPOD.
