**WANTED** 190 Model
I am interested in purchasing a 190 model Benz for my daily driver.
I am located in Springfield, MO, but I am willing to travel 250-300 (maybe a little more) for the right car.
Six our Four cylinder models would be OK, as well as Auto or Manual Trans.
Even though I love diesels, no diesels, please!
I am new to Mercedes, as I have not ever owned one yet, but my brother has had his fingers in several Eighties VW's, a 924, and now a 944S. I have been impressed by the build quality.
I am no stranger to all things mechanical, but I would like the car to be able to start, and drive to where I live, without any worries.
I am not looking to spend a crazy amount of cash, but from reading in the 190 forum, there is a good batch of folks on here who would not steer someone in the wrong direction, just to make a profit.

I have a 1993 190E 2.6 that has less than 36,000 original miles. The car has a white exterior and a brown interior. NO dings, dents. Car is immaculate.
I am willing to let it go to someone who will take care of it......and also if the right price is offered......

I'm not sure what the price would be fair for your car, or I would be happy to purchase it, so long as it wasn't an enormous (relatively speaking!) figure.
Again, I'm no stranger to turning wrenches, I just want something that will last with good maintenance, instead of all-too-typical approach to fixing a GM car, which would be to try to keep throwing parts at it faster than they deteriorate. Not to mention interior rattles and squeaks.
