There's a whole sub-culture of people out there who collect x-rays / imaging records, especially if the images are a little odd. BTW - there's a TON of x-rays available for purchase on e-bay - pretty cheap too (and some very old).
It's kinda like the 'dead people' photos that they used to take years ago - some of them are worth a bunch of $$$ and there's a whole sub-culture of weirdos out there who collect them.
That said.......'it rubs the lotion in it's skin.....or else it gets the hose again'.....

I know of one reason why someone might want old x-ray pics.
Tiger Shulman karate uses them to practice kicks and punches.
the x-ray film serves as a target and it makes a snapping sound when you make proper contact.

I have nooooo idea if they still use silver in Xrays, but you can throw xray films in the furnace and easily recover the silver which can then be melted and sold for a decent return.
My science teacher used to do it when he was younger. I would assume that by now they are not using silver in xray films but who knows? Thats my guess.

sorry it took me a little while to get back to you guys i completely forgot about this post. but to get to the point i recycle x-rays and collect the profit. i don't have a fetish nor am i a weird guy that looks at an x-ray in one hand and have a bottle of lotion in the other. ha ha but this is what i do, so i figured why not make a quick post and see what kind of results it can return.
doctors get rid of their x-ray library every 5-7-10 years to make room for the new one's they usually throw them away but what i do is pay them not to.
i am not just looking for a few x-rays im looking for bulk.
i was hoping that we might have some doctors in the house.
