This pedal set involved countless hours of mock fabrication until the final prototype was made using flat aluminum. Thread several years back on this. The final bespoke production pieces are what you see. I have always felt than the pedal placement in the C Class made you sit to the left of center with your hips and lower body tilted toward that side as compared to the upper body. In additon, the stock pedal placement does not allign both legs evenly as it related to knee bend, with the left leg sitting lower. I have shimmed up the dead pedal as you can see from the side pic shot to allign both knees at the same angle. I also changed the angle in which the ancle sits when resting on the support allowing the full foot to come in contact, not just the ball of your foot with the heal on the ground. In addition, you can now move your left foot in line with your hip for a straight extension which is a much more comfortable driving position. The stock gas pedal always bothered me in that the relationship between the gas and brake was just too far away, often leading to me having to lift my foot off the gas to reach the brake rather than just sliding my foot over. Also, on several occations, my foot would slip off the brake to reach the gas and would fall through the gap between the two. I developed this design to prevent the foot from falling through and to provide a very close transition between the two pedals also allowing proper heal and toe application for the track even in an auto trans to smooth out downshifts. I have a lot of time and dollars in this unique fitment set and the final production version cost me a fortune. I will let these go for $200.00 to someone who will really appreciate them rather than trading them in with the car. PM me if interested.
