For Sale: 1958 190sl Roadster
The good news: Myself and my wife have agreed to buy a chalet in France. We live in Dartford, Kent, UK.
The bad news: 'Grace'. our beautiful 190sl has to go 'back home to the US'
I bought this great car from the President of the Penn State Chapter of the Mercedes Benz Club US, in 2002 (wonderful guy). It was the best car buy I ever made. I shipped the car back. Drove the 230miles from Manchester to London and have enjoyed the car for occasional summer trips putting on just 2,500miles in nearly 5 years. You can folow the story on the treads of the 190slgroup website. I search for some time and it was fate that led me to her.
I have a full porftolio of bills and history and the original bill of sale. Apart from my ownership the car was always in the USA.
Full details of the car can be emailed but PLEASE no time wasters. This is a collectors car and only serious enquiries will be answered. The sale price is £25,000. The very best examples in Europe are now fetching £50,000 plus. This example is by no means concours, but it is an honest example of a design classic that is realistically priced.
The hard top goes with her but it needs restoration.
