Lease Takeover - 2006 E55 - 11K Miles - White/Panno

Fellas:

This will be a "love" or "hate" deal depending on what you are looking for.
Need to get rid of my 2006 E55 with 11,000 miles (White, Panno, Lighting Package, Nav, New Toyo's, 91K MSRP) that I got last May.

Original Terms:

Purchased: 5/20/06
Lease Expiration Date: 7/20/08
Tag: $90K
Purchase Price: $82,800
Total Miles Allowed: 33,750
One Time Lease Fee*: $31,224
Poor Residual - Not a good car to buy at the end of the lease but if you like to lease/change vehicles it is an excellent deal (I would have jumped all over something like this last year).

*Included all taxes, deposits, license fees, etc.

The average monthly payment on this is ($31,224/27 months) $1,156 w/tax.

I pre-paid the lease so would need to get "pre-paid" as well. The remaining payments total about $15,028 (monthly payment * 13 months, assuming).

I live in Minnesota.

PM me if interested. I am going to go f&^@*!&g cry now...

Gonna derail this thread, but the whole point of leasing a car is to get away with the lowest monthly payment possible. This means rolling the sales tax, registration, and all other fees into the final cap cost.

If you were going to prepay, you should have just financed the whole car and used your prepayment as a down payment. It's much easier to sell a financed car versus trading a lease to another person. In addition, financing rates are usually a lot more affordable, somewhere along the line of 1.9 to 2.9% interest.

Your request is a bit strange and I doubt you'll find much interest. You're better off providing the remaining balance of the car and then maybe someone will purchase the car from you. My 2 cents.

^ What he said, regarding buying vs leasing but to each their own...

...I think it would be in your best interest to provide some kind of insentive of say 2-4k so that the respective payment would technically be lower for the person taking over.

I agree. especially paying in full at one time... and 1156 is kinda high when you have to pay everything up front. You can lease a brand new SL with 4000k down for $896. I know its different car but price is about the same. There are used E55 cars out there that you can take over the lease for $850-$1000 without having to pay all up front. I do recommend that you give out incentives to lower the payments. Since you are asking to pay everything up front, I think price range of $9000-$11000 is fair for the buyer. I m currently in the market to either purchase or take over lease of SL500 or E55. I wasnt planning on paying up front for the lease but please contact me if you are willing to make a deal. Thank you and good luck
