2000-2 E430 4-matic--need tranie case.
Tri-axle to the front drive broke and damaged ( more like smashed to bits ) the transfer case. The sheared off axle got lost in transport. Bad news is that I'm looking at $ thousands. Can someone lead me to a wrecking yard or shop that just might want to sell/part with any of the casings (2) /Axle

Just visited my local MB dealer. I should have walked out--fast ! A lady at the parts brought in a small interior light bulb--cost $8.75--taxes came out to $10.+
Now my turn--transfer case--housing only 2--$1600. How about rebuilt ?--$3600. Need core charge--deposit $900. But mine is cracked--NOPE !
How much for a front axle to diff--$1500.
Can you give me the MB part #'s Nope !
With the GST/ TAX--I could buy another same car e430
. However, hear is another scam. Went onto Carparts.com-Salvage yard site. Tranie case--$559-called Bionic wreckers--mistake $850. Went on site again revised--$907.50- Next local Toronto yard-On carparts add says --$900 USA-- called them--Standred Wreckers-we will get back--Gone back to Carparts--$1100USA
