F.S. 78_W116_300SD PartsCar in PA (Make offer?)
Hello
I have to get rid of this car. (Unfortunately... Quickly.)
The local ordinance doesn't like it sitting about anymore.
I DO have the title.
It's in Schuylkill County PA. (North of Berks, Northwest of Lehigh)
I don't have time on my side, so I suppose you should be FAIRLY local, and/or able to pick it up well... really soon. (sorry)
I'm not above getting what the salvage yard will give me. I could use the $. But I'd rather she go to someone, that can get something more out of her.
5 cylinder Turbo diesel (of course)
I haven't run her for awhile but she will run.
I'm foggy on the miles. It's 130?150k?180k?
(Sorry but It's not at my home and I haven't looked in a while.)
But hey, it's a Mercedes Diesel. So it's just past it's break in period... right? ;-P
It has starting issues. (starter has trouble catching? I don't know for sure)
This being PA... she has ample cancer. (if she didn't... I'd be driving it.)
If you have a complete... solid... passenger side rocker... and are a body man that LOVES to weld... you MAY even be able to save her? (Hmmm... Not good odds.)
But If a rusty but complete running w116 with a sunroof, & typical period alloys, to part out for you're own Benz sounds good. And you can find room for her on the quick...
