Kleeman Lowering Module

I believe this works on all Mercedes with Air Suspension. I have used it for about 1k miles. Installed new was $2500. Please make a reasonable offer.

KLEEMANN Electronic Body Lowering module (EBL)
The KLEEMANN Electronic Body Lowering module (EBL) fits all AirMatic and ABC-equipped cars and lowers the car for a more sporty and elegant appearance. The system retains the comfortable ride despite somewhat stiffer dampening characteristics.

Installs very easily I did it myself.

Tell your cousin I like to buy a lot from him and resell it! In fact tell him I'll pay him $100 more for his because I can resell it for more! I highly doubt he paid $700, probably something completely different.

NO NO.. he paid 700 for the KLEEMAN lowering module and its used as far as I know when you have 1 car you buy 1 module why do i need to buy a lot of the ELM's your not a reseller neither am I so im stating the facts post your price. 700 is reasonable thats 1/2 off new your unit is still USED no matter how many miles on it. FYI the dealer sells the ELM for 1650 installed. Good luck Buddy

Just because the guy above claims they are worth $700 doesn't mean that they are. Nothing personal against you, but lots of guys sell the Renntech lowering module which is a lot cheaper used for $850-$1050. I don't believe I should sell a much better system for even cheaper. Yes it will work on any airmatic car. If your willing to pay a more reasonable price I would love to sell it to you.

I'm curious to know what makes the Kleeman lowering module you are selling better then the Renntech one other people sell?

the renntech EML if i remember correctly only lowers 1.5" where as the Kleeman ELM lowers closer to 3" on the lowest setting you wont lose ride comfort or anything Kleeman IS the best ELM on the market in my opinion..
whatever price you buy it at will be worth the comfort and looks from this unit.

Can the Kleemann ELM be adjusted after installation like the Renntech? i.e. the unit is under the floor on the passenger side? How else is it superior to the Renntech apart from a lower drop? I'm interested.

Yes it can be adjusted after installation to your hearts desire. You do not lose any ride comfort with Kleeman. I had 22" wheels with this setup on my S550 and it rode like stock.

What about the Brabus, Carlsson, and Rennteck lowering modules?
What are the pros and cons of each? Also, isn't 3" too much for the Kleeman ELM? Won't that overhang the tires?

Robert it was just stated above that it is fully adjustable to whatever height you want within that range.

1975 450sl, more to come
can you please tell me how the kleeman looks? Can the settings be changed via knobs, screws, etc? Is it easy to change settings from the drivers seat?

I know the renntech needs the knobs extended if you want to continually adjust it, its designed more to set once and forget it

Renntech is capable of providing the lowest drop. Kleeman is next, followed by Brabus with the least agressive drop. I'm not sure where Carlsson fits in there, but I believe that it's somewhere around the Brabus measurement.

The Kleeman can pretty much slam the car in my opinion I don't see how the cheaper Renntech can do much more if so it would just sit on the tires. The adjustments are done using a small flat head to adjust two knows one for the front and one for the rear. The module is rectangular and will fit well in the passenger footwell above the ecu.
