FS: BMC High Performance Air Filer for M271 C230/SLK230 K
I bought this filter just before I sold my M271 C230 Kompressor so it's only been used for less than 1K miles. I looks clean and new still with original packaging. These are made in the UK and very hard to get here in the States. They offer the best performance gain compared to ANY other replacement filter, as Dyno proven my members of this borad. They are imported to NA by a Canadian distributor and it took me a while to receive and costs in the neighborhood of $140 shipped! It can be yours for $100 + shipping. Email/PM me for pics or questions. Should fit any C230 or SLK230 with the M271 engine, which I believe is between MY 2003 and 2005. See my other ads for other parts from this car.

This filter is dyno proven? I don't remember seeing that.
somewhere on this board I read that someone dyno compared all the drop in filters and found this one to have significantly more power gain than teh rest, including K&N. Do a search is all I can suggest. That's how I found it.
Now are you interested or do you have too much time on your hands...

Nah, I'm just saying that I don't remember seeing anything proven. Just trying to see if you had that info, since you indicated "They offer the best performance gain compared to ANY other replacement filter" I'm sure people would like to see those dynos you are talking about. If it is only hearsay off the old thread where someone "claimed" they did a cross comparison, but never posted the actual dynos...well, that's completely different.
In my experience of doing all the stuff I've done with my m271 engine, I haven't seen one filter that has shown gains (including the k&n drop in I have right now).
<---- = Moderator, so has nothing to do with too much time on my hands, just making sure you're not trying to sell something to other members with false hope that it will gain some power from just a drop in filter.
