I'm assuming you need the K&N filter for the M271? (Sedan) not the M111 engine (coupe) right?

When I purchase K&N filter from online do I ask for m271 I have an 03 c230k sedan?
And can you guys point me over to the direction of an online store that would be a reasonable price?

You'd ask/look for the M271 air filter for your engine. I however am selling a M111 engine air filter.
Try looking online at Amazon or you could order one through your local autozone or advanced auto. Unsure of the price at those places but amazon is probably cheaper.

Hey Zoomie, are you willing to risk ruining your MAF sensor? You may not know this, but the oil from the recharge kits do damage them. We have seen it where I work. We usually just advise customers to stay away from K&N filters and filters like it. You could be looking at anywhere from 280.00 to 400.00 for a new MAF sensor.
The other option is to use it once and throw it away.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, I just don't want you to have to spend more money than you have to.

Only if you over oil them. I've had mine for 3 years and no problem. --knock on wood--Originally Posted by MAJBOB01
