FS: 1999 W210 E55 w/ext warr to 100K unlim years
Hi,
Selling my silver 1999 W210 E55 with 55,000 miles. Options include sunroof, heated seats, rain-sensing wipers, most other options are already included on the E55.
Have had the car for almost 2 1/2 years, only 2 upgrades:
1. Stealth K40 radar detector with lights in instrument cluster / laser jammer behind license plate. This is a $1800 install. Detector cannot be seen at all, only evidence is tiny LED next to speedometer in the instrument cluster, very effective solution.
2. Upgrading the factory cassette player stereo to a Alpine DVD/MP3 head unit and added rear video screen in headrest. (car plays DVD videos, and DVD-MP3's with up to 9Gb or 5000 songs on a disc! Much better than an ipod solution). Have factory unit available.
Car always serviced at regular A, B maintenance intervals, Mobil 1 used for oil changes.
Best part - car is fully covered by transferable Encompass auto warranty up to 100,000 miles and UNLIMITED years. Thats right, if you only drive this car 5,000 miles a year as a weekend car, it will be warrantied for another 9 years! (eg. 9 x 5000 = 45000 miles remaining on the warranty)
I have made 2 claims under the warranty (A/C digital display and headlight washers) and they were both paid. I selected this company after months of research into the best aftermarket warranty companies. It is an exclusionary warranty (the best kind), and cost $3200 when purchased. Never buy a used Mercedes without a warranty!
Car runs extremely strong, no maintenance issues, all electronics work perfectly.
I love this car, but we recently had a new baby so I am moving to an S-class for more space.
Price is $18,750. Title in hand, no accidents, car is in Houston, Texas. Pls PM if interested.

If you are willing to sell the:

to exchange for my OEM headrest. If the radar detector in the instrument cluster is too much hassel to pull out, then I'll just take the laser jammer. If not, I'm willing to exchange my instrument cluster with yours. Please let me know and provide pics. Thanks!
