Runs and drives, one judge owner, was a recent trade in, body is rusty but interior is nice, 310k, I drive it daily but am not sure if 4th gear is engaging, it cruises 70mph at 3200rpm, besides that engine/transmission are fine. $550 takes it. I'll have pics up soon. Grey with reddish interior.

That is normal for the 300SEL in 4th gear. It has a 3.46 rear end I think which is why it revs that high at cruising speed.

My good friend has a Pearl Black 1991 300SEL with 324k miles. He loves it so much he just cant get a new car. He just wants to re-build the motor and drive it another 300k miles.

Those W126 cars are solid old beasts!

It's amazing how well it still runs, even the suspension has no bad noises, no bad lights on the dash. The interior for having 300k is in suprisingly good shape. Guess they just built them better back then.
