yes that is true but if you curb it its going to chip period. BTW clear powder coat is what is used to coat the wheels in the factory. that is why bbs can warrenty the wheels in winter conditions. Actually powdercoat is more resistant to chipping scratching ect the clear coat.
these wheels have a very high gloss clear powder coat on them just the way they came from bbs. I spoke with mike @ bbs reguarding the coatings they used from the factory and he agreed that powder is the way to go!

what happened to the tires on them?

I took the wheels off today removed the weights and cleaned Maguiers gold class carwash /waxed and boxed them up. I have my old 19's LM'6 reps I will be rolling on these for now. I will be more than happy for you to take them. Your car will certainly look sick with these wheels on. As for the trade in I really don't have a need for them since I have the LM'6 reps on. I really hate to let them go but I rather sleep better knowing she do not haft to worry for a few months about bills.

I want to thank you all for the wishes. I told her what I was doing and she was laughing about (car forums) she's old... But she's still trying to talk me out of selling them she say I know you wanted those wheels for a while now. Anyways She thanks you all and I thank you all!
