Another set of Chrome AMG 17" 5-spoke for sale on e-bay

I think you sold a set of 17" AMG aero IIs (like the CLK 55) brand new with Bridgestone Potenza SO3s on ebay two weeks ago, right? For about $1200-1300?

Are you going to put anymore of those up?

How about 18" AMG aeroIIs? Thanks.

I have another set of 17" AMG aero II silver brand new with Bridgestone Potenza S03s. I can sell them to you for $1550 shipped. The set I sold 2 wks ago was $1375 +$150 shipping

I currently don't have 18" AMG aeroII in silver now.

Let me know if you're interested. Btw, S-03 tires are good as you might know. Why not take them as a set? Just my opinion anyway.

The offer with the tires are worth about $2000 from tirerack, the wheels alone are about $1200 from tirerack, if you get the 17" staggered to OEM specs. Of course, that doesn't include shipping.

The tire/wheel package is a great offer! Although, I'd hold out for the 18" rims if I were you!

Most people on this board seem to agree. Most speaks highly of both SO3 and Michelin Pilots.

For the price difference between his packages, it looks like he's going to sell you the S03s for about $25 a piece if you buy tire and wheels! Pretty awesome! Still, hold out for the 18"s!

Two questions:

1. Anyway to make those S/CL AMG 18" fit on a CLK?

2. Do you have the 2 piece version of those wheels? I think some of the folks on this board call them the SL-2 piece AMG rims.

1) I think you need to use spacers to reduce the offset from +44 mm to about +35 mm in order to make the wheels fit a CLK. The bolt size might be different? I've heard that S, CL, and new E-classes use 14 mm.-bolt while the other models use 12 mm.-bolt. Please check with experts to make sure.

2) I don't have any 2 piece AMG rims, but I do have 2 piece Carlsson rims in 19" (model 2/5) w/ Dunlop SP9000 245/30 on them. This set will fit perfectly on CLK both old and new models with no modifications needed

It's a great price, but I think I'll wait for the 18" Aero IIs in silver. SO3s or Michelin Pilots on the 18"s would be what I'm looking for.
