Brabus V 2pc on ebay...

I'm shopping for some new wheels and noticed this ad on eBay.

While I don't really like the Dunlop tires he has on the rims, I could probably live with them for a while. I've seen him running this for a while and not meeting his reserve. With only one other sale, I can see why others might be leary (as am I right now). He says these were for his CLK he recently sold and now he has an SL. If so, I would think he might have been a prior poster. Can anyone vouch for this guy? Anyone on here know him? What moniker might he go under on these forums? From the photo's, these look authentic. What would be a good price?

Wowww...everthing brand new.. maybe he expects to sell them at least $4000. From what I know, Brabus Mono V multipiece is around $4200 just for the wheels it self.

Good luck

Yea, you know what they say...

If it's too good to be true... Then it's probably too good to be true. Notice that the seller has almost no prior feedback. The most recent bidders are less than ideal. One of th guys even has -1 as a feedback rating. That's pretty bad. Only one transaction and he screwed the guy on that one. Can't see any way that bidder could be considered valid for anything other than attempting to drive the price up. If someone on here (with history) had any information on the guy, I might consider the deal. But his "verification" and the lightweight insurance (up to $400 of the transaction) is still a $2,600 loss if I bid $3K so until I learn more, I've stayed away from the product.

Just a hint for you. Beware of ebay sellers when you are dealing thousands of dollars. Check the feedbacks. For me, the seller at least has to have 10 or 20 feedbacks when I am risking thousand of dollars. the seller on has 1 positive feedback, he "might" just one item to his friend and then has one positive feedback, later on he will get at least $2600 from you. j/k :-)

Are you looking to get Monoblock V? What size do you want?
