Sad but true - my baby's gotta go: CLK55 for sale
Long story short, priorities dictate a bit of "simplification" in my life. Without question, she's the best car I have ever owned, but I gotta clear the decks and generate a bit of cash.
Listed on Autotrader at $41k, with half a dozen photos. (link here) . Look there, or feel free to contact me via email. I live in San Diego, work in Santa Ana, so can make her available pretty much anywhere in San Diego or Orange Counties. Hell, I could use a couple days of drive time to clear my head - I'd seriously consider a personal delivery to pretty much anywhere in the lower 48!

84K miles OUCH! That might be the reason why you are not getting any nibbles on autotrader.com. I sold my car on autotrader. I put it up for sale in the SD UT and got a few phone calls but only because the mileage stated in the add was very low and thought it was an error. So I had to explain to the 6 callers that there was no error and the car was in outstanding condition. So my problem was too low mileage for a 2000 (18K) and scared a few people away. But when I put it on autotrader I sold it in 8 days. The kid who bought the car lived in AZ and flew in on a Friday and drove home that night in his new car. He paid 50% in cash and the rest a check from his bank. He really wanted the car. It seems that there are groups of people, like in MBworld, who appreciate certain types/models of cars, workmanship, design and quality who may/may not be in your city or state. But that is why the information highway is so great. In my case it was a group of kids in AZ who wanted to get a good deal on a great car.

KKB.com has it for $38.3K and that's listed as excellent condition, which you said it is in. But for a 2+ year old car with 85k miles, thats roughly 40K+ each year which is really more abuse than babying I would say.
That car has been thru a lot more than average which really doesn't sit very well with potential buyers.
I'm sure you loved it and took care of it like nothing else, but the mileage hurts.
I'd think $36-38K starting price is more reasonable, sorry.
