FS: W208 CLK Blacked out grill and side markers...
Professionally done: Sand-blasted, sanded, and painted with clear-coat to match factory texture.
The image below shows one side marker and the grill when they were done. I no longer have the CLK, which is the reason for the sale.
The grill is NOT in new condition. It has some rock chips that I've touched-up. I prefer a local sale so the buyer can look at the items first.
The side markers are in excellent condition. They are waxed together with the car.
I am in SoCal...again, I prefer a local sale for the interest of the buyer and time.
Asking price for one blacked out W208 CLK grill and a pair of smoothened and painted side markers - paint code 040 (black): $150 OBO.
Either way you look at it, you're getting either the grill for free (since a pair of markers is approx $85 at evosport with a 1 year wait) or getting the side markers for free (since a factory CLK grill is approx $100 plus add the cost of painting).

Someone is currently looking at the grill. I prefer a local buyer for the simple reason that I'd like the buyer to see the item first so we can have a clean sale.
If mmgrad doesn't like the grill, I'll let you know.

Simon78, I'm not into picture taking so I do not have any, but if you want to see what it looks like - you have three options:
1. do a search in CLK208 forum... there are several cars with star grill like mine, specifically there is a white CLK430 - the guy has a lot of posts in that forum (I think its in that very first huge picture thread),
2. you can go to performanceproducts.com, but the picture there is of the older smaller star, even though they sell the larger star now,
3. or you can call me at 212-778-6572 and take a look at the real thing - it is still in the box.
BTW that last option is obsolutely free and the way to go IMHO.
