RENNtech ECU for C230 Coupe for sale
I MIGHT part out my car and trade it in. Nothing is 100% yet. But if I do I will be able to take off all my other parts but the one thing I need done before I trade it in would be to swap the ECU. What I am asking is for someone to send out there ECU overnight plus $650.00 and I will have mine swapped out the next day and overnight the new one back. RENNtech charges $1,595 for this. It takes off the speed limiter which makes it top out at 155mph and also takes off the rev limiter in neutral so u can rev it into redline if u wish instead of the pathetic 4k rpm. RENNtech claims 10hp and 12pounds of torque increase on a stock car. With the pulley it was a noticeable difference in response and u are able to feel it pull harder. Please let me know very soon if anyone is interested. If you have a manual tranny i will find out from RENNtech if this will work or not. I am really not sure if it would.

I should have updated this. Renntech said its not a good idea to swap ECU's, so i dropped the whole idea. And the price was fair compared to what i paid. I would not have really considered the person sending me their ECU doing me a favor, i can easily retun or trade the car in with it done no problem. The person getting it would have been getting a good deal since its not like the ECU can have wear or anything like that. But anyway, i still think it can be done, but wont risk the chance of someone having a problem.
