New 17" Wheel/Tire Pkge, 2003-04 E-Class from Appearance Package

Nearly BRAND NEW set of factory take-offs from a 2004 Mercedes E500. They were immediately removed from my car when the car arrived from the dealership (10 mile drive). These 17 x 8 wheels are the alloys that come from the "Sport" or "Appearance" package from the 2003-04 E320 or E500.

The tires are the better (at least more expensive) Michelin Pilot Primacy 245/45/17 tires as opposed to the Continental ContiSport Contact 2.

Currently, I have them up on Ebay here.

I only know that they will fit all 2003-2004 MB E-Class cars. I'm sure they fit some of the other Benz models, but I am not sure exactly which off-set they require. Please do your homework here.

I know most on this board are looking for 18"-20", but if you need tires for your current 17" wheels, these are cheap. Unless this item sells for more than about $900, the "Sport" wheels, mounting and balancing are essentially FREE!

Thanks.

Thanks. Hopefully, not too great a deal. :p

I have too many wheel and tire sets building up. In fact, I will likely sell the staggered AMG double-spoke 18" wheels and tires, I replaced the above wheels with shortly. Had them all of three weeks, and 800 miles, but I decided to get 19" wheels. Oh well.

Are you sure it's a Michelin Pilot Sport ??? . I have the Pilot Sport on my W210, and the tread looks completely different than what you have on your pictures.

In the other hand, your tires look very similar (identical) to ones on my W211, also with sport wheels. My W211 have Michelin Sport Primacy though

The Pilot Sport is about 500 times better in term of handling compared to the Primacy, even though both cost the same.

Doh!! You are right. My bad totally! Pretty lame, I don't even know what I'm selling.

I thought the series was called "Pilot Sport". If you blow up one of the pictures, you can see that it is the Primacy.

Like I said, I took them off right away, took some pictures, and stored them away. Anyway, Tirerack still has them for $218 a piece, so it is still a good deal.

Thanks, for the correction! I'll have to correct the ebay ad now.
