whats the blue ring? is this for an ml?

Blue ring is an optional style. The one I have is all black, like the one on the left. It's not car-specific -- I bought this for a 2000 VW Passat -- but it comes with a universal mounting kit. I think. (Like I said, I've never even opened the box it was shipped in.)
