I just picked up the 05' sport package rims, new not used at all.. Im just going back to a stock setup.. =( I was fedup with sacrificing the ride of my MERCEDES experience. I have a pair of those nasty 16" daisy looking stock rims on from a friend of mine and it rides sooooo nice, but looks like the ugliest piece of dung you wuld have ever seen...
I debadged my car and all... Oh well...
I warned you ahead of time, hopefully would not suffer the same fate. All those rims being sold for our cars at 8.5 inches all the way around fit but does not at the same time. OUr cars should only have 8" rims at the largest in front but 7.5 is the best. THe struts will be rubbed and cause you hell as well, yes, i suffered this as well...
You have a nice setup, I like what you did. Smart, with no suffering.. =)

Hmmm... Actually, a 19 x 8.5 rim in the front with a +35 offset fits perfectly, and a 19 x 9.5 rear with a +35 offset is perfect too. I have a friend who works at DAZZ Motorsports, and these are the "perfect" specs for a W203 C Class. Some of those imitation rims like the ones you had more than likely had +37 or +38 offsets. Many of the sets of imitation rims for sale on eBay have offsets that are deeper than +35. I only saw one or two that had the correct offset. Anything more than a +35 offset is likely to rub your struts, which is what happened to you. 19 x 8 or 19 x 7.5 is WAY too skinny and would leave much more width that could be utilized. Offset is the key to fitting as wide of a rim as you can on ANY car...
