Roof cross bars
I wanted the roofrack bars for my 01 E wagon. They are not standard any more on the 01 Wagon! To make a long story short it was a "special order" and they were not the previous slim type, I wanted.
I am stuck with the " MB basic carrier" which have slots so that you can attach, bike racks, etc. these are much beefer and held on with cable loops (rather than the clamp) and keys to lock on, and of course have the MB logo. The MB part # is Q-6-84-0014 and are claimed to be the replacement for and fit C202/203 and E210 wagons, they are directional for wind noise reduction. I got $255 invested, still wrapped in the box showing an (01) mf date. Good offers considered, for a picture I can fax. Or go to your local MB parts counter and look at the brochure, these might even fit the ML, the brocure shows them but the manual does not show it.
