It's quite authentic, and has been determined to be an authentic Louis Vuitton bag, by LV dealers. It is not new, it is a Vintage piece, made in the mid-70's, and has all the proper hardware and materials of the time. Very heavy duty, and finely made.
You'll notice you don't see any other examples of this for sale on eBay or anywhere else, only this one. This size and style are very hard to find.
