My wife's new CLE450 has a smeary film on the inside of the glass that has resisted coming off with every substance I can think of using including acetone. I assume this is from the degassing of the interior materials. Any tips for removing this film? Thanks in advance.

I've had success with microfiber after using a good glass cleaner product (like invisible glass - amazon, or chemical guys - streak), then I use a new microfiber to dry it and a final to buff out the dried glass.
if that doesn't work, I use old school newspaper to wipe down the smears.
Agree, off gassing is a problem, especially on new vehicles. I have found that using Adams brilliant glaze works quite well. Since it's not a wax, it does not build up. After applied, use a microfiber cloth to periodically wipe off the inside windows and your done. GL
I wonder if anyone has rain-x'd the inside of their windshield and if they could help - it would be quite a challenging process - it's a terrible angle to buff out the rain x
