I got my detector installed. Used a 9 foot USB C to RJ11 cable and a USB C cigarette lighter adapter. Ran it under the dash panel, two pin plugs to remove to get the panel loose and then ran up the side of the door and window trim. Enough cable to run next to the mirror or all the way to the left side pillar. Works like a charm and the install took about 15 minutes

Very nice! What radar detector are you running? What type of mount?

 

I have a Uniden R7 and I used the two cup mount and removed them. I just used foam tape to mount it higher on the windshield
