Service Required Do Not Change Transmission Position

Any seen this message before? No out of normal driving prior to this.

I seen this popping up on the W206 C 43 cars, not any CLE yet. no, to answer your question.

I'm pretty sure I got this same message once during the first few hundred km of driving the vehicle. I just turned the engine off and on and I never got the message again.

Another software update issue then? Seems like a rather common thing across MB models lately, always been software, glad it is not hardware though.

It feels very much like software, the car didn't change behavior at all. Felt exactly the same. I'll take it in and let you guys know

2024 CLE53 AMG

I've had this about 3 times in the last 6 months of ownership. Actually just had it yesterday lol. Literally goes away after 5 seconds, and no CELs and everything is normal. I feel like it's a software glitch for sure. Car drives normal.

Yes, software indeed, some forum members I read had the issue very constantly, some are intermittent, all fixed with a proper software update to both the TCU and actually, MBUX updates. I wish I know what software version was causing the issue and which one is the fixed one.
