cabrio rear window button lacks auto roll up feature

hi, my rear window buttons have auto roll down but lack the auto option for rolling them back up. is this the case with everyone’s car or is mine missing it as a malfunction?

Thats normal functionality. No idea why. Coupes work the same way.

No anti-pinch sensor on the rears. Was the same thing on my old 2018 E400 coupe. If I were a betting man, I'd guess MB has determined there's some sort of safety reason, and safety>convenience.
