CLE 300 GPS issue

Dear members,

I recently joined this awesome MB community and am excited to be here! I wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced an issue with the GPS always displaying the satellite map view as the background.

I contacted MBUX customer service, and they mentioned it might be related to a software recall. However, even after the dealership updated the software on my wife’s CLE 300, the GPS still shows the satellite image by default.

Has anyone else run into this or found a fix?

Thanks in advance!

thank you

Have you tried zooming in on the map itself?

Am I missing something here? Just turn it off in the settings. Did you read the owner's manual at all?

https://www.mbusa.com/en/owners/manu...-satellite-map

However, if you are talking about always seeing the navigation, then that's a feature of the Zero Layer UI, which is relatively new in MBUX. If you prefer the Classic View from before, press and hold the Home button. You then get the option to switch between Classic and Zero Layer. Again, this is all in the owner's manual.
